Verified by Visa protects your online purchases at no additional charge to you. In accordance with this security feature, once you make your online purchase a One Time Password “OTP” is randomly generated and sent to your registered mobile with the bank for validation of your transaction. This is to provide an enhanced level of security on card transactions.
Every time you shop online at a participating merchant (registered on Verified by Visa service), a pop up window will appear requesting you to enter your One Time Password “OTP”. The One Time Password “OTP” will be sent to your registered mobile number prior any online purchase. All that you need to do is make sure that you have a valid registered mobile number with Al Salam Bank Seychelles so that you can get the One Time Password “OTP” required to perform the transaction. Once you submit the “OTP” the transaction will be sent for authorization and the merchant website will display a response to you.
Your “OTP” will protect your card from fraudulent use online, which in turn allows you to take advantage of the online shopping offers conveniently and securely.
